Lundi · lundi.page

Getting on with it.

How Lundi is built to be usable, and where it is not there yet.

Lundi exists because paper planners did not work for the person who made it. So this is not a page written to satisfy a checklist. It matters here.

Last updated 9 September 2026. This page describes lundi.page. The planner itself opens in December and this page will be updated then.

What we have done

  • Type you can read. Body text at 15px and above, generous line spacing, and no text set in a colour that fails against its background. Nothing on the site relies on colour alone to carry meaning.
  • Targets you can hit. Every button, link and control is at least 44 by 44 pixels, which is the size a thumb needs rather than the size a mouse needs.
  • Text over photographs only where it can be read. On phones the opening photograph and the words are stacked rather than overlaid, because measurement showed the type could not be read reliably over the image.
  • Motion that respects your settings. If your device is set to reduce motion, animation is switched off. Nothing flashes, nothing moves on its own, nothing plays automatically.
  • Forms that make sense. Every field has a label, errors are written in plain words rather than shown as a red outline, and nothing is required that does not need to be. The only thing we insist on is an email address.
  • Room to breathe. Text is set to a comfortable measure rather than the full width of a monitor, and pages are not crowded.

What Lundi does for how you think

Accessibility is usually discussed as sight, hearing and movement. It is also attention, memory, energy and mood, and most planners are hostile on all four.

Lundi does not count you. There are no streaks, nothing turns red, nothing is marked late, and there is no record of the days you did not open it. If you disappear for three weeks, the planner is exactly as you left it and the next morning is a clean page.

Three things a day, not thirty. A task can carry a first move, so the next step is written down rather than remembered. You can say a task is stuck and be helped to shrink it. Nothing nags, and nothing is offered twice.

That is a deliberate design position, taken because the research is consistent: guilt is what makes people stop, and forgiveness is what brings them back.

Where we are not there yet

Being honest about this is more useful than claiming to be finished.

  • This site has not been formally audited against WCAG 2.2 AA. We have built to it and measured the things we could measure, but nobody independent has checked it.
  • It has not been tested with a screen reader by somebody who uses one daily. Testing it ourselves is not the same thing, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
  • Some labels are small. A few section labels are set at 11px in capitals. They are supporting text rather than anything you need to read, but they are smaller than we would like.
  • Handwriting needs a hand. The blank space on each day is drawn with a finger or an Apple Pencil. Everything you can write by hand you can also type, and nothing in Lundi requires handwriting.
  • Lundi needs a connection. There is no offline mode yet.
  • It is not on the App Store, so it does not appear in the accessibility settings that some people use to manage their apps. It installs from the web instead.

If something is in your way

Write to hello@lundi.page and tell us what happened, on what device, and what you were trying to do. You will get a person, not a form.

We will reply within five working days, tell you honestly whether we can fix it and when, and if we cannot, we will say so rather than leave you waiting.

If you would rather not describe the problem in writing, say so and we will find another way.

What we are aiming at

WCAG 2.2 at level AA, for both this site and the planner. We are not claiming to have reached it. When the planner opens in December we will have it tested properly and this page will say what was found, including the parts that failed.
